It got me when you said that we should also do our research about the seller of the animal aside from learning about the breed, paperwork, and more. I will keep that in mind and learn more about the proper horse shelter as well before even buying one this year, so I know that it will be comfortable in our care. It's the dream of my daughter to have her own horse which is why I want to surprise her with this on her 16th birthday in May.

Great post on the responsibilities and considerations that come with owning a horse! As a horse owner myself, I can attest to the importance of doing your homework before making the big purchase. One aspect that I found helpful was researching horse calming supplements, especially for horses that may have anxiety or stress. It's important to ensure that your horse feels comfortable and safe in their environment, and these supplements can aid in that. Additionally, having an experienced horse person by your side during the buying process is invaluable. They can provide insight and ask questions that you may not think of on your own. Overall, owning a horse is a rewarding experience, but it requires a lot of hard work, time, and financial commitment. So, do your due diligence and make sure you're ready for the responsibility before taking the plunge!
